Frequently Asked Questions

Prior to any facial or facial peel, a facial analysis must be done.

A facial analysis will involve a questionnaire, examination of your skin using a magnifying lamp and or a Woods Lamp.  This typically takes up to 1/2 hour.  We do NOT diagnose.  We can recognize what may be problem areas and advise you.  We can treat to within our means and we can consult, but we do not diagnose.

As with everything else in life, everyone is different.

Waxing anywhere on the body can affect everyone differently.  Typically, waxing the brows, lips or chin do not cause much pain or discomfort, nor does waxing the arms, underarms or legs.  Waxing of the private parts may be somewhat uncomfortable.  If you do not have a high pain tolerance level, waxing might be uncomfortable for you.  Test areas can be done for you.

There are different types of waxing that are typically done.

We offer facial waxing-except for the beard and mustache of males.  We also do the underarms, arms, chest, back, legs and the private areas in between.

What is included in what you call a "custom facial?"

A custom facial is one given in response to the facial analysis, once we have determined what it is that your skin is needing or requiring.  A custom facial will always include;

  • cleansing
  • exfoliating
  • a mask
  • facial massage
  • toning
  • moisturizing
  • sunscreen

Our custom facials at Outrageous Results Skin Spa also include hand and foot massage or the optional paraffin dip.  We want our clients to be happy with our services, to feel pampered and want to come back and see us again!

A facial peel should not hurt, if it does something is wrong.

A facial peel is used to remove all dead skin that typically does not slough itself or has not been removed through regular, deep exfoliation treatments.  Removal of the old skin reveals fresh, new skin.
